This privacy statement discloses the privacy practices of ClickDate, Inc. and all websites owned or operated by ClickDate, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates

DATA COLLECTION

Collection, processing and use of personal data

Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (e.g., name, address, date of birth or e-mail address). When we say that we process personal data, this means that we collect, store, use, transfer to others or delete such data.

Clickdate collects and processes your personal data exclusively in the following cases:

  • If you visit our website without being a member.
  • If you contact us directly via our customer care portal.
  • If you install clickdate app from AppStore
  • If you subscribe to an clickdate membership (paid or free) and then use clickdate.

In order to provide you with clickdate services as described in the General Terms and Conditions (the "Serivce" or "Services"), we need to use your personal data.

If you do not want us to use your personal data or parts thereof, we will not be able to provide you with the Service. You will also need to provide us with special categories of personal data (i.e. sensitive personal data, such as information about your sexual orientation).

Please see below for further information about the types of personal data clickdate collects when you use our Service.

What personal data does clickdate collect from its members to fulfil the contractual relationship?

In order to register for the clickdate Service and conclude a Free or a Premium Membership, you will need to provide us with the personal data described below. In addition, in order to provide you with our Services (as more fully described in the General Terms and Conditions), we need to process
this personal data.

Registration process

In order to register for clickdate’s free Service, you will need to provide us with personal data, without which the registration cannot be completed. These data are:

  • Your Gender and gender of partner you are looking
  • Email address
  • Password

If you have chosen to log in via a third-party provider such as Facebook or Apple, you do not need to enter an email address or a password during the registration process. You can access clickdate’s Service respectiely with the email address and the password you have indicated (your access data)
or alternatively via the third party provider’s login data.

During registration via Apple ("Sign in with Apple")

You can register to join the clickdate Service using your Apple-ID. If you choose to do this, we will receive the information that we need for your registration directly from Apple. In this respect, a data transfer takes place. Apple enables you to share the email address associated with your
Apple account with clickdate or hide it. If you hide your email address, we will receive a randomly generated unique email address from Apple for the creation and use of your clickdate account. Our communications will be sent to this email address and automatically forwarded by Apple to your email
address, if you have not deactivated forwarding of clickdate emails.

Please be aware that we have no control over the type and amount of information that Apple collects about you when you register for our Service using the Apple login. If you do not want Apple to collect information about you in relation to your use of our Service, you should not use the Apple
login.

You may dissociate your clickdate account from your Apple-ID at any time in your profile on our website. In this case, we will need your access data, as mentioned above.

During registration via Facebook ("Facebook Login")

clickdate uses the Sign in with Facebook” through which you can register to join the clickdate Service using your Facebook account. If you choose to do this, we will receive the following authentication data for your registration directly from Facebook: the email address that is associated with
your Facebook account, your profile name and your profile picture, your birthday, your gender, your city of residence, which you can change during registration except the email address.

In this respect, a data transfer takes place. All your Facebook data, except email address, are not stored or processed by us automatically untill you give you consense and approve during the registration the usage of the data. Otherwise you can replace the data from Facebook by any valid data,
in which case Facebook data will be automatically deleted.

If you use the Facebook login on our website or app, Facebook will also collect data through third-party scripts, process this data for the purpose of Facebook Analytics or forward it to third parties. The Facebook privacy policy explains which data may be collected through the Facebook login.
This includes data about your device, your use of clickdate, the websites that you have visited, as well as adverts that you have viewed. Unfortunately, it is technically impossible for us to prevent this processing by Facebook. If you do not want Facebook to collect information about you in
relation to your use of our Service, you should not use the Facebook login and/or adjust your tracking parameters directly in your Facebook account before accessing or using clickdate.

You may dissociate your clickdate account from your Facebook-ID at any time in from your Facebook Apps.

Data required for Free Membership

Our Service works by providing your profile information(and based on your profile and face parameters from personal photo-generated input data) as input data to our algorithms, which are deciding to show your profile to other clickdate users in case of match or reverse compatibility.

Please note that, although you will be able to read your personality profile, your personality profile is not generally publicly visible to other clickdate members, but only to users whom you are compatible with in some manner.

In order to get the full benefit of our Service and to set up your clickdate profile, we are asking users to provide data about themself. This may include different types of personal information. When creating profile, you can also provide us with voluntarily information about yourself, hobbies
and interests, and personal characteristics. This information is not mandatory, but recommended creating an attractive profile to show potential partners your personality and make potential partners interested in you

Some information that you provide during registration are mandatory and we will not be able to suggest you best partners matches if you do not provide us with the requested information. If you do not want to provide us with this information, you will not be able to use our Service. Nevertheless,
some sensitive information is required during registration, that information is completely hidden and not visible to other users.

Following information is required during the registration to provide service. In the bracket you can see which information are not visible to other users:
  • City of residence
  • Date of birth (kept private and not available to other users)
  • Full name
  • Height
  • Body Type
  • Number of children (kept private and not available to other users)
  • Marital status
  • Education level
  • Religion
  • Ethnicity
  • Occupation
  • Income (kept private and not available to other users)
  • Smoke and Drink habits
  • Preferences on the appearance of the potential partners

By giving us this information, you allow us to store and use this information in order to generate you with the best partner suggestions.

For Premium Membership

If you decide to become a Premium member, we will collect your payment data during your order. However, please note that your credit card data is not stored by us, but is instead stored by a third party payment provider.

To process purchases, we may require your name, address, phone number, email address and credit card information. Such information is used primarily to process your order or as otherwise described herein. Credit card transactions are processed through industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL)
and/or strong encryption (3DES) by a third party, which only uses your information for that purpose. We do not store any credit card information in our system

If you purchase a Premium Membership via an app store provider (e.g. Google or Apple), please refer to the terms of use of the relevant app platform operator to find out which personal data they process in relation to the purchase process. clickdate does not process any payment or billing data in
this respect.

Communication with partners, communication with our customer care

If you communicate with other members in our platform, or with clickdate customer care, we will collect and store this information. The messages sent between members via our Service are end-to-end encrypted.

Communications between you and clickdate will only be conducted via the email address associated with your clickdate account. Members who are registered via Apple and have hidden their email address will only receive communications if the automatic forwarding function is activated through Apple.
Please bear in mind that Apple does not inform us whether you have activated the forwarding function.

What information clickdate collect during website usage?

Every time you access the clickdate website, we will collect usage data. This data is sent to us by your Internet browser and is stored in log files. This data includes:

  • Information about your browser type and your internet service provider, as well as your operating system (for example Windows 7, Apple OS, etc.)
  • The IP address (Internet Protocol address) of the device you use to access our website or Service (for example, your computer, tablet or smartphone).
  • Information about the page that you have accessed
  • The date and time that you used the website
  • The referrer URL (origin URL) from which you came to the page that you have accessed
  • Statistics about the amount of data transmitted during your use of the website
  • Status message as to whether you were successfully able to access the website
  • Session identifier

Each time you are logs in to our network, we also collect user identifier.

While using the website, and in addition to the data mentioned above, cookies or pseudonym IDs may also be stored on your device, when you visit, our content.

What information clickdate collect during app usage?

Every time you access the clickdate app, we will collect your usage data. This data includes:

  • The operating system used to access the app and, if necessary, the browser type
  • Your current language setting in your device
  • Information about your Internet service provider
  • The IP address (Internet Protocol address) of your device
  • Your Device ID (e.g. UDID, IDFV) to identify your device for a secured authentication
  • Information about the part of the app that you have accessed and, if applicable, the webpage you accessed previously
  • The date and time that you used the app
  • Statistics about the amount of data transmitted during your use of the app
  • Status message as to whether you were successfully able to access the app
  • Session identifier

While using the app, and in addition to the data mentioned above, tracking technologies or pseudonym IDs (e.g. the Apple IDFA) may also be stored on your device, when you visit, or after you visited, our online content.

Login data

We also collect the following usage data each time an clickdate user logs in:

  • Date and time of login
  • User identifier on the clickdate platform (your e-mail address)

What information clickdate process when you use our platform?

Our main Service is to provide you with potential partners. These partners are presented to you in your profile and via notifications (e.g. emails), with some basic information from their profiles( e.g. first name, age, city of residence, photo) and a link to their profile. Please note that we
may present you at any time as a match to other members, including those based outside the US and/or using one of our other clickdate platforms.

In your settings, under “Notification", you may choose to receive notifications from us (e.g., emails or push messages) to alert you when there has been activity in your account (e.g. you have received a new message or we have new matches for you). Please note that if you do not choose this
notification option, your matches who have requested notifications may still receive notifications related to you (e.g., when you send them a new message or we send your profile as a suggested new match). As such, and as mentioned above, your first name, city of residence, photo, age, compatibility
score and a link to your profile may appear in such notifications.

You may also request to be informed about: (1) which partners visited your profile and/or (2) if your partners are currently online (green circle if they are online, or grey circle if they are not). Please note that if you do so, the same information regarding your activity will be available to
your partners who have also selected these notification options. As such, and subject to a partners notification settings, (1) a partners whose profile you visited may be informed of your visit, and (2) your partners may be notified when you are online or offline.

Processing purposes

clickdate processes the personal data of its users for the following purposes and legal bases. If data processing is based on the legal basis of a legitimate interest, we will also explain our legitimate interest in data processing to you below:

To provide the clickdate platform and thereby perform our Services as described in our General Terms and Conditions. In particular, this includes:

  • Provision of our website for non-registered users;
  • Use of our website and app for registered
  • clickdate members; Ability to contact other users and respond to requests via the platform;
  • Facilitation of the conclusion of a contract, incl. invoicing;
  • Sending emails and/or push messages regarding matches or other contractually relevant messages. (The legal basis of processing is contractual necessity, i.e. to provide you with the services you have asked for from clickdate. In some cases, the legal basis is your consent.).
  • To provide a login via the clickdate platform, Facebook login or Apple login. (The legal basis of processing is contractual necessity.)
  • For the prevention of and defence against abuse, clickdate automatically collects, processes and uses personal data. We collect data during your registration and the completion of the clickdate registration and/or creation of your clickdate profile, to check for any evidence of the misuse of the
    platform. This information is stored in a database. If our automated processing activities suggest that our Service has been misused, an clickdate employee will review the relevant information and underlying clues, as well as the information in your profile (including any wording and photos you have
    provided) to confirm whether this is the case. In addition, Customer care representatives perform profile checks to check members’ profiles that have been reported by other members through the function "report user” or as having breached our General Terms and Conditions. (The legal basis for
    these activities is the legitimate interests of clickdate and our clickdate members, to ensure that the clickdate Service is not used in a way that is in breach of our General Terms and Conditions and/or the law. In doing so, we also comply with our legal obligation regarding data security to
    guarantee system security and to detect and trace unauthorised access attempts or accesses.)
  • To ensure that you comply with your obligations under your subscription and our General Terms and Conditions, including your payment obligation (which concerns only Premium members). If you do not pay outstanding invoices / instalments despite repeated reminders, we will transfer the data that
    are required for the execution of a debt collection procedure to a debt collection service provider for the purpose of fiduciary debt collection. In the event of disputed claims, we also transfer any necessary data to our payment services providers for the purpose of asserting our rights (e.g.
    within the framework of conflict resolution for chargebacks). (The legal basis for these activities is the legitimate interests of clickdate to ensure that (as applicable) you provide the agreed payment for our Service in accordance with your subscription.)
  • For the protection and defence of our rights and the fulfilment of legal obligations. (The legal basis for these activities is the fulfilment of our legal obligations and our legitimate interest in asserting and defending our rights.)
  • For the purposes of sending advertising relating to our own products through promotional emails and/or push messages, newsletters, surveys and personalised guidance. (The legal basis is our legitimate interests in relation to sending direct marketing about our own products. The legal basis in
    some instances is also your consent.)
  • To comply with statutory retention obligations and other statutory or legal obligations and provisions (e.g. in connection with tax audits, official or judicial orders for information or other purposes). (The legal basis is the fulfilment of our legal obligations).

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

clickdate uses a different security measures, including state-of-the-art encryption and authentication tools, to protect the security, integrity and availability of our customers’ and users’ personal data. In particular, these measures include the following:

Strict criteria for the authorization to access your dat, Storage of confidential data in encrypted form, Firewall protection of IT systems to prevent unauthorized access, Permanent monitoring of access to IT systems to detect and prevent the misuse of personal data.

CHANGES YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

clickdate provides users the following options to access, change, correct, update or delete information previously submitted to us.

Certain information (such as personal or partner settings, photos, billing / payment method, and email address updates) may be updated by logging in to your account and updating directly. clickdate requires that some personal information updates (such as gender or search gender) be processed by
our customer care group for verification purposes and to protect other members. In order to make such personal information updates, please contact Customer Care at this link
for further assistance.

DELETION YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION, OR DISABLE YOUR CLICKDATE ACCOUNT

You may review, update, correct or delete the Personal Information in your ClickDate account by logging in to your account. If you would like to disable your ClickDate account, you can do so by logging in to your account.In this case your account and information will not be visible to other
users, until you activate it back by login to our system back.

To request deletion of your personal account information,please contact Customer Care at this link for assistance. We will verify the data and ensure all your personal data are deleted. Requests for personal information deletion will be
processed promptly.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may retain personal information in order to comply with applicable laws, keep accurate records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms and Conditions of Service or other agreements, or for any other legally permissible purpose.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

We do not target our sites or services to children under the age of 18, and in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, any information we may receive from users we believe to be under the age of 16 will be purged from our database.

YOUR PRIVACY WHEN YOU ACCESS THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND RESOURCES

The System might contain links and advertisement to other websites not owned or controlled by ClickDate. ClickDate does not have any control over third party websites. These other websites may place their own cookies, web beacons or other files on your device, or collect and solicit Personal
Information from you. They will have their own rules about the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information. We encourage you to read the terms of use and privacy policies of the other websites that you visit.

requests are unfounded, excessive or have a repetitive character. we are not required to comply with your request to deletion in the following circumstances: (i) to perform our contract with you, (ii) to detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal
activity, or prosecute those responsible for the activity, (iii) to debug to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality, and/or (iv) to comply with our obligation to maintain records of consumer requests made pursuant to the ccpa.

SPECIAL FEATURES AND PROGRAMS

Referral service and requesting for references

The System may provides a referral service that allows you to invite your friends and contacts to use the System. The System also may allows you to ask your friends and contacts to write a reference for you. We may integrate the System with third party sites such as Facebook, so that you can send
invitation messages or requests for references via the third party site itself. These messages will be sent by the third party site, and ClickDate does not collect or retain the contact information that is used to send them. You may also send invitation/request emails via the System itself, in which
case we will ask you for the email addresses to send these emails to

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may change how we collect and then use Personal Information at any time and without prior notice, at our sole discretion. We may change this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes to the Privacy Policy, we will notify you either by posting the changed Privacy Policy on the
System or by sending an email to you. We will also update the “Last Updated Date” at the top of this Privacy Policy. If we let you know of changes through an email communication, then the date on which we send the email will be deemed to be the date of your receipt of that email. It’s important that

ClickDate cookies and third party cookies

ClickDate may place our cookies on your device via the System. Accordingly, our Privacy Policy will apply to our treatment of the information we obtain via our cookies. We may also allow our business partners to place cookies on your device. For example, we use Google Analytics for web analytics,
and so Google may also set cookies on your device. As further explained below, third parties may also place cookies on your device for advertising purposes. Uses for ClickDate cookies

ClickDate uses cookies for a number of purposes, such as the following:

  1. to enable, facilitate and streamline the functioning of the System across different webpages and browser sessions.
  2. to simplify your access to and use of the System and make it more seamless.
  3. to monitor and analyze the performance, operation and effectiveness of the System, so that we can improve and optimize it.
  4. to show you content (which may include advertisements) that is more relevant to you.

Uses for third party cookies

Our partners’ cookies are intended to obtain information to help them provide services to ClickDate. For example, third party companies and individuals we engage to provide services to us may track your behavior on our System to market and advertise ClickDate listings or services to you on the
System and third party websites. Third parties that use cookies and other tracking technologies to deliver targeted advertisements on our System and/or third party websites may offer you a way to prevent such targeted advertisements by opting-out at the websites of industry groups such as the
Network Advertising Initiative (http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/) and/or the Digital Advertising Alliance (http://www.aboutads.info/choices/). You may also be able to control

In addition, Facebook places a cookie via the System that allows Facebook to obtain aggregated, non-Personal Information to optimize their services. For example, if a user clicks on an advertisement for the ClickDate mobile app on Facebook and subsequently installs the app, this cookie will
inform Facebook that a user (who is not personally identified) has installed the app after clicking on the advertisement. This cookie may also inform Facebook that a user is using the app, without identifying the specific actions taken by the user in the app.

Disabling Cookies

Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can modify your browser setting to decline cookies by visiting the Help portion of your browser’s toolbar. If you choose to decline cookies, please note that you may not be able to sign in, customize, or use some of the interactive features of
the System. Flash cookies operate differently than browser cookies, and cookie management tools available in a web browser will not remove flash cookies.

We can change this Cookie Policy at any time. If we make material changes to the Cookie Policy, we will let you know either by posting the changed Cookie Policy on the System or by sending you an email. It’s important that you review the changed Cookie Policy. If you do not wish to agree to the
